Welcome to Etan's Journey Adult Medical Respite Care Facility, Inc; your partner in compassionate care in Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina. We provide short-term higher support medical care;  and mental health and substance abuse  transition for adults; who  are homeless, more  medically fragile, or recently discharged from hospitals; aiming to foster healing and to expand the continuum of care, to promote long-term well-being. Our comprehensive care services

At Etan's Journey, we offer a range of specialized services designed to meet the unique needs of vulnerable adults. Our overnight clinical and supportive care is focused on improving post-acute recovery outcomes, reducing hospital admissions, and promoting health stability.

Overnight Adult  Medical and Mental Health Respite Care

Our facility provides round-the-clock clinical supervision and care by Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), ensuring continuous medical support for our residents.

Personalized supportive services

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) offer essential daily living assistance, personal care, and emotional support, contributing to a comfortable and healing environment for every resident.

Comprehensive case management

Our team, includes a  Medical Social  Worker, LCSW-A, and  a casemanager, to. provide vital  clincial care and case management to connect residents with community resources.

Post-acute recovery & stability

We focus on improving recovery outcomes, reducing hospital readmissions, and collaborating with partners to secure long-term housing and health stability for our medically fragile residents.
